Hello Meadows!
Just wanted to pass on my highest level of praise for the Meadows’ Freeride Team and its caliber of instruction.
This is our first year on the team and we have been impressed and pleased in so many ways. Our girls – ages 7 and 5 – have been introduced to hucking small cornices, Heather Canyon, rail jam competitions and a whole new set of likeminded friends. They return from every class happy and exhausted, yet stoked for more.
While all the coaches are excellent, we have weekly experience with Coach James, Coach Micah, Coach Rocky and Coach Rachel and cannot say enough lovely things about them. They are all excellent instructors and great at inciting stoke amongst the children and their parents.
I see the burgeoning Freeride Team as a terrific differentiator for Meadows. There are a lot of us parents that either don’t want to or can’t do a race program. The Freeride Team gives our groms a sense of community and challenge with some of the best freestyle coaches on Hood.
We look forward to being part of this team for years to come. Thank you to the coaches for their overall rad-ness.
If we felt like Meadows was family before, we feel it even more so now.
A huge thank you to my ski instructor, Kevin ( I think his last name started with a H) for making my first downhill ski experience a great one today. His enthusiasm & obvious passion for his sport were obvious and contagious. The entire group of beginners felt good about even tiny amounts of progress with his encouragement. He made it a really fun experience. I will be back for more downhill for sure. Give Kevin a raise!
Thanks!!!
Speaking of employee recognition please follow this link to celebrate with a few individual co-workers that you all know or will want to know.
I hope everyone has had a great week and we look forward in seeing you up on the slopes.
