Situation 1 – 2nd Season (or more) Full Time, Returning Next Season
Full Time instructors who have taught for Mt. Hood Meadows for two or more seasons, and who are planning to return as a full time instructor next season, will have their PSIA-AASI member dues paid in June by Mt. Hood Meadows. This will cover membership dues for the following season. To be eligible for these dues payments the 2nd season (or more) returning full time instructor must have fulfilled their schedule commitment and/or have an “eligible for rehire” status with the company. You will be notified by email about this dues payment eligibility and the plan for us to renew dues on your behalf.
Situation 2 – First Season Full Time
If you joined Mt. Hood Meadows this season as a Full Time instructor and joined PSIA-AASI this season ideally we paid the membership fees for you on a company credit card or you paid yourself and were reimbursed. Your PSIA-AASI Membership Dues are coming due on June 30. You should plan to renew your membership dues yourself. Upon your return to Mt. Hood Meadows as an instructor in the Fall of the following year, you may submit your dues payment invoice for reimbursement. Alternatively, you can let your membership lapse, and re-join (and have Meadows pay) in the Fall, however a late fee assessed in June is not covered by Meadows; you’d be responsible for the late fees. You would lose access to any member benefits at the time your membership expires. You do NOT lose your certification status unless you fail to renew for more than one season. Please email your PSIA-AASI Membership payment invoice to Tyler.Barnes@skihood.com for processing.
Situation 3 – Part Time Instructor Trainer
If you have been a part time trainer for 2 seasons (full time instructors / trainers are already covered above), then you are eligible for a 50% dues reimbursement. Please email your PSIA-AASI Membership payment invoice to Tyler.Barnes@skihood.com for processing.
