Hello MLC Instructors!
You may or may not know, but the Mt. Hood Meadows Learning Center is Oregon State’s largest Snowsports School! We are located next to major metropolitan areas that have been growing rapidly over the last several years and the demand for snowsports recreation and lessons has grown equally if not more so. This is an amazing opportunity to get involved with Mt. Hood Meadows and the Meadows Learning Center growth and development while taking on a role as a leader in one of the largest “Indy” resorts in the nation.
The added demand has identified the need to create 2 new supervisor positions:
Program Tech Supervisor and Private & Adaptive Lesson Supervisor
The Program Tech Supervisor will help run the Program Lesson Rental Operations, supporting our lesson operation with pre-tech and re-tech rental equipment. This person is an integral part of our program lesson operations and we’d be stoked to have one of you apply for this position. We are hoping to hire this position quite quickly so if you are interested in applying, do not delay.
The Private & Adaptive Lesson Supervisor is responsible for oversight and support of the Private and Adaptive Lesson coordination. Daily duties include following up with guest lesson requests via phone and email, scheduling instructors on the private board, and supervising the Private and Adaptive Lesson on-snow operations.
To learn more about these positions, for current team members, login to Dayforce on your device or computer using your browser, then look in the Careers menu, then search for “Program Tech Supervisor” or “Private and Adaptive Supervisor” to find the right position to review the abbreviated job description and/or apply. If you get stuck and want to apply, but can’t figure it out, just reply all to this email and we’ll help you!
If you know of someone who would be interested in one of these roles, but is not a current team member, they can find these at https://www.skihood.com/en/jobs/current – on this page one can also search for the title of the position as mentioned above.
Yours in snowsports,
Tyler
