Sunday – Sunday – Sunday!
We need help on Sundays. If you have called in sick and need to make up a day or have been working mid-week days and not getting the chance to enrich people’s lives (or get the hours you need or want), please switch your schedule to Sunday, make up your sick day on Sundays or just pick up an additional shift on Sundays. Did I say, “Sunday?” Yes, I did! We need help THIS SUNDAY and any or all Sundays through February. Your Wellness
With the news about several of our instructors being injured recently please take a moment to consider how your wellness can be maintained. This is more than just “wellness runs” as I call them. This also means eating right, getting enough sleep AND safely traveling to and from the mountain. Please leave early to arrive at the mountain on time, take the employee bus and please, if you’re tired at the end of the day, take a little break before heading down the mountain. A moment of inattentiveness due to being sleepy or testing while driving or a poor judgement call (passing, snow conditions, driving under the influence) can affect yours and other’s lives forever. We want you to be able to enrich people’s lives for many years to come – our guests and your loved ones, so please – please – please be careful – this is physical and mental carefulness.
50th Anniversary Celebration – January 27th
Start planning for next weekend’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. Celebrate Meadows 50th Anniversary! We will have games, raffles, live music all day and the Golden Ticket drawing for the 50 year season pass. There will also be a firework show at 5:30! Help us wish Meadows a happy 50th birthday! There will be fun for the whole family! Check out what we have going on:
- Vendor Village in the Base Area – check out their tents and their products
- Music on the Deck – we have a DJ from 11 AM to 1 PM and Counterfeit Hits from 1:15 to 5:30 PM
- Games and raffles – going on throughout the day with swag and Golden Tickets to win
- Snow Play – check out our family friendly snow play area. Have fun without having to ski or snowboard!
- Raffle for the 50 year season pass
- Fireworks – going off at 5:30
CHEF DANIEL’S MOUNTAIN MEATLOAF in The Comfort Zone
Chef’s special recipe Homemade Meatloaf served with Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes w/Gravy and Sautéed Spinach Cost is: $8.50 for employees with a pass. Open 10:30 to 2:30 Saturday and Sunday. The Comfort Zone is located directly upstairs from the Schuss. This is a good option for a quick hot meal since we know the other areas are more busy with guests at lunch time.

· Talking to Jessica after a lesson, she had lots of great detail and feedback very specific for him it was wonderful
