TRAINING UPDATE
There are the typical clinics happening (L1-L3 Exam prep) plus a Freestyle clinic and a varying topic or clinic each Saturday and Sunday. This week we have 2-hour Rehire clinic sessions also happening, so please check the calendar for more details!

There will also be an Adaptive Clinic focused on Tethering the Bi-Ski, Saturday at 4pm meet in the CLC. Everyone is welcome…
EMPLOYEE DINNER
Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort wants to thank you and your fellow coworkers for all your hard work, dedication, and flexibility this winter season. In celebration of your accomplishments, we are hosting an Employee Appreciation Dinner and hope you are able to attend.
Event Details:
- When: February 3, 2014, 4:30-6:00 PM
- Where: Enter through the Sno-Blaster Room to Vertical North
- Who is invited: All current employees in good standing at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort & Cooper Spur
- The Hap’s: Dinner buffet style catered by Cooper Spur & Raffle of sweet prizes and schwagg!
Drinks: $4 beer & wine tickets are purchased at entrance to the dinner:
*Limit 2 per person 21 & older
*Must present ID w/proof of age at time of ticket purchase
*Non-alcoholic drinks are included in buffet dinner
Remember:
- Bring your Employee Pass/ID to scan for entrance into the dinner and raffle
-No ID=No Entrance and no chance to win some awesome raffle prizes
- No bags or backpacks allowed-please leave in your locker
- Cash or card to purchase drink tickets
- This is an employee only event-please do not bring friends, family, or pets
Transportation: Buses depart at 6:00 pm for Hood River & Sandy
*There will be no 4:00 or 5:00 pm buses departing that day
*Additional bus runs have been added to accommodate those who are not working that day; buses arrive at 2 pm so you can get some turns in before the feast

PAPERLESS PAYSTUB RAFFLE
In an effort to support Meadow’s Core Values Sustainability initiative, Employee Services is holding a raffle open to all employees who enroll in electronic paystubs. Feel free to post the attached poster in your department’s employee area and spread the word during your team meetings.
Employees who have already signed up to receive their pay statements electronically may also stop by Employee Services and enter the drawing for a chance to win a backpack stuffed with schwagg.
Winner will be drawn on February 15.
