Returning Alpine, Snowboard & Nordic Instructors – Please re-apply!
Stoked that 26 full-time and 104 part-time returning instructors have gotten their applications in to date! You should have heard from us that we go your application! If you did not hear from one of us, please send an email to: mlcrecruting@skihood.com and we’ll double check on your application.
If you are planning to return as an alpine, snowboard or Nordic instructor this winter, all you have to do is log into the Dayforce website with your credentials and navigate to the “Careers” menu item or look for “careers” in your favorite’s sidebar. When you login for the first time you’ll see a new dashboard called The Hub that the HR Team hopes will make the Dayforce experience on the website a little more user friendly. Once on the Career’s page, if you type in “Instructor Returning” or “Nordic Instructor” in the search bar you’ll find the best options.

Wage Matrix Update – Teach More, Earn More
We are normalizing the wages between full-time and part-time instructors and paying a teaching hour bonus to those who teach the most hours. If you teach 200 hours – you’ll earn a $200 bonus. Then you’ll earn another $200 for every 50 teaching hours over 200 hours you teach. This applies to all instructors – full-time or part-time, entry level or highest certifications. Now you are in charge of how much you earn – teach more lessons, make more cash! Details will be shared at the Welcome Home Sessions mentioned above.
Program Supervisor Positions
There are 2 program supervisor positions open. The Program Lesson Supervisor and the Program Rental Supervisor. Both Shannon and James took jobs in town, so these positions are open. Starting pay is as much as $22.74/hour (DOE), both are 40 hours per week and you get to spend the winter on the mountain skiing and snowboarding, and being part of Oregon’s largest ski and snowboard school! Come join us full-time this winter – it’ll be a winter you won’t forget! To apply – Same as above. Login to Dayforce, go to “Careers” then search for: Ski & Snowboard School Program Lesson Supervisor or Program Rental Supervisor
