Hello MLC Instructors!
I’m disappointed but with the weather forecast for this weekend not looking very favorable, the decision has been made to cancel the Memorial Day Weekend operations. I hope we’ll get another chance next Memorial Day! That said, we may try to re-kindle a summer “ski school” activity of Mountain Biking or White Water Rafting for those that want to get together over the summer. If there is anyone who’d like to take on the organization of a summer activity, I am willing to help promote it. But with the Memorial Day operations cancelled, we can continue to focus on Summer Operations and building a new lodge – see below …

Wild Flowers, Water Falls & Kids Camps – Summer Operations Info
As you know, we are moving towards a sustainable year round operation. That said, Cooper Spur will be very busy with weddings this summer and Josey Rice, the Mt. Hood Meadows Summer Operations Manager, will be making things happen all summer long, from scenic chairlift rides to Kids Camps to Music and Twilight Dinners. I encourage you all to make a trip to Meadows this summer – it’s really cool to see the place in its summer glory – and the smell of the forest in the summer is amazing. Come ride (up and down) the scenic Stadium chair, take a hike along the Timberline Trail, take in the wild flowers and water falls and so much more! Our first preview weekend for Summer Operations will be June 28-30. We’ll send additional updates this summer with Summer Operations reminders. Get all the details at the link below.
