Returning Instructors – Apply On-line
If you are planning to teach again this season (and I know you are), please re-apply on-line at one of the following links. Both Full Time and Part Time instructors need to apply on-line. This first step puts you in the pipeline for additional steps like … getting your pass and submitting a schedule.
Full Time Returning Instructors: https://chj.tbe.taleo.net/chj06/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=MEADOWS&cws=40&rid=722
Part Time Returning Instructors: https://chj.tbe.taleo.net/chj06/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=MEADOWS&cws=40&rid=723
Orientation Dates – Nov. 14 or Nov. 17
Please signup to attend one of the Company + Learning Center Orientation dates. Either 11/14 or 11/17. This will be a full day event. You’ll get your uniform, learn about what’s new for the company, have lunch, attend our department specific training modules (like we did last year), and hopefully stick around for a no-host social afterwards. Please follow the link on the homepage of the MHM Instructor Portal to sign up for your orientation date.
Reminder: Terry Burke Memorial Hike – Limited Rides to the Top – 8 Seats
Please join “ski school” instructors for a special memorial for fallen instructor Terry Burke. We will be placing a stone at the top of Memorial Bowl on Saturday September 29, 2018. Meet at the Mt. Hood Meadows parking lot at “lineup time” – 9:45am. We’ll hike to the top of Memorial Bowl – about a 1,200 vertical foot gain – and place a slate stone at the top of Memorial Bowl, just above the top of Shooting Star, in Terry’s honor. Please dress for the weather and bring snacks / lunch for the hike.
We will have access to two Mt. Hood Meadows Suburbans that can accommodate up to 4 people per vehicle. That said we have 8 spots for those who don’t think they can make the hike but want to join us. Please email me to reserve a spot.
We’re Hiring – Refer a Friend and make $50
If you have a friend who you think would make a great instructor or maybe wants to work in a different department, please refer them to our website to apply. Be sure to have them mention your name on the application in the “referred by” line, and upon the applicant being employed with Mt. Hood Meadows for 40 days (not work days, but calendar days) you’ll receive $50.
You may forward them this email or send them this link: https://skihood.com/jobs
