Hello all,
Well if you were sad that you missed last week’s powder storm, the good news is that we are chest deep in another one right now. We’ve received 12” in the last 12 hours, 14” in the last 24 and 34” in the last 48 hours and it’s only going to get deeper. If you are thinking of coming up, I would suggest getting up here before Wednesday night, as there will be a slight warming trend going on for Thursday and Friday, before cooling back down on Saturday. If you can’t break away from your desk jobs this week, check out this video to try and get your powder fix: https://youtu.be/8zPcCo7ke5U

· Ali was great! I snowboarded once 11 years ago…and it didn’t go well so I wanted to take a beginners class to reinforce the basics. Even though I remembered a lot, Ali still gave me some really good pointers that made the class and the rest of the day enjoyable. She also gave me recommendations for how to describe my snowboarding experience for the next time, so that I can maximize the value of the next class.
· Tyler was GREAT! I think he got everyone in class involved with the instructions. He also provided equal amount of help and guidance for each class member. Secondly, even after the class he saw my girlfriend and I and he tried to give us a few more tips. I want to schedule a private lesson with him if possible next time.
· I liked Rocky a lot. Very easy to talk to and provided helpful instructions
· Alan was very helpful and encouraging. I liked that he was specific in giving me one thing to work on at a time.
· Our instructor was fantastic. Timmo was attentive and patient and very helpful. We will be requesting him next lesson.
· Stu was incredible. Great attitude. Lots of care. Great feedback, focus on relaxing and having fun, took additional time with those who needed it, stopped to wax all of our skis when we started because they weren’t done well at the shop. I hope if I take additional lessons that I can be with him.
· I have not skied for years and had to overcome some fears. Never once did I feel uncomfortable with Greg, completely trusting him. He was able to adapt verbiage to help me learn quicker and fully understand what needed to be done. Amazing Instructor. I only went skiing because I pinky swore… and had not intention of going back up. Greg changed that for me, giving me the confidence and the excitement to get back on the slopes. Thanks Greg!!
· Casey was an awesome instructor. I will definitely recommend him to friends.
· Great Lesson, Helped focus on technique that I needed to improve on, I continued to practice that for the rest of the night and will do so in the future! The side lesson of learning how to do 360’s on the snow was super fun also! Thanks Garth and Meadows!
· Whitney did a great job! I made a lot of progress over the last time I was skiing. Since it was not very busy I was the only one taking the lesson and the one on one aspect really helped. It was much better than the group lesson I had last time. Only wish I would have tipped Whitney. Did not think about it until we left and do not know if it is expected?
· My wife and I took a lesson with Ali (I think it was…) and she was AMAZING! She really listened and tried to understand the level we were at in snowboarding, and then taught what we needed, and took us to some runs that’s would challenge us, but where we could practice the things we needed to practice. It was an absolute BLAST! I would say our best day of snowboarding ever, and it was 100% because of her. Meadows is lucky to have her!
