Hello all,
The Powder was AMAZING today! There were Powder Giggles all over the mountain today, big hulking men with ice encrusted beards, women with frosted braids and rosy cheeked kids all with huge grins on their faces and tales of how deep the snow really was and where they got stuck (because no matter how good of a skier/rider you are, you will get stuck at least once). And if you would like to read a quick, fun article on the science behind Powder Giggles check out this link: http://www.grindtv.com/skiing/science-behind-powder-giggles-skiing-addictive/#gAe0W5Lz74E6iylY.97

· Ali was great! I snowboarded once 11 years ago…and it didn’t go well so I wanted to take a beginners class to reinforce the basics. Even though I remembered a lot, Ali still gave me some really good pointers that made the class and the rest of the day enjoyable. She also gave me recommendations for how to describe my snowboarding experience for the next time, so that I can maximize the value of the next class.
· I liked Rocky a lot. Very easy to talk to and provided helpful instructions
· Alan was very helpful and encouraging. I liked that he was specific in giving me one thing to work on at a time.
· Fred made great constructive criticism and encouraged me to follow his example, which was helpful.
· Our instructor was fantastic. Timmo was attentive and patient and very helpful. We will be requesting him next lesson.
· Stu was incredible. Great attitude. Lots of care. Great feedback, focus on relaxing and having fun, took additional time with those who needed it, stopped to wax all of our skis when we started because they weren’t done well at the shop. I hope if I take additional lessons that I can be with him.
· Great Lesson, Helped focus on technique that I needed to improve on, I continued to practice that for the rest of the night and will do so in the future! The side lesson of learning how to do 360’s on the snow was super fun also! Thanks Garth and Meadows!
· Whitney did a great job! I made a lot of progress over the last time I was skiing. Since it was not very busy I was the only one taking the lesson and the one on one aspect really helped. It was much better than the group lesson I had last time. Only wish I would have tipped Whitney. Did not think about it until we left and do not know if it is expected?
· My wife and I took a lesson with Ali (I think it was…) and she was AMAZING! She really listened and tried to understand the level we were at in snowboarding, and then taught what we needed, and took us to some runs that’s would challenge us, but where we could practice the things we needed to practice. It was an absolute BLAST! I would say our best day of snowboarding ever, and it was 100% because of her. Meadows is lucky to have her!
