Hello MLC, Nordic and Snowshoe Team!
It was so awesome to see everyone at the Welcome Home Sessions over the last week or so. Thank you to all who made it up, got their lockers, got all moved in, came to training and the social. So stoked for the season to begin.
The availability submission forms are ready, and I believe everyone will be able to choose the dates and days they want to work, especially with our Grow Visitation Tactical Operating Plan.
This message was sent to all “active” MLC department team members (MLC Instructors, Nordic Instructors, Snowshoe Guides, etc.). The Nordic Scheduling is different than the MLC, so Nordic and Snowshoe team, please see David and Debbie about your availability submissions.

When are we going to open?
We need more snow. What was looking like very promising November snow fall has all but dried up, and the current forecast through Thanksgiving is not looking like we will get the snowfall we need. The good news is that it’s been cold, and the grooming team has track packed most of the runs in hopes that the next snow fall will allow for putting some groom down on the runs. We really need another good dump of 12 to 16 inches to make things happen. So, keep an eye on the forecast and think snow!

Availability Submissions
Setting up the availability form is the easy part. Getting all the program dates into a calendar and estimating the needs on each day is the hard part. Essentially there are about 25 days during the season when we need all the help we can get. Please focus on these dates: the holiday break days where we have 3-day camps, Saturdays and Sundays in January and February, the holiday Mondays (MLK Jr, President’s Day), Wednesdays (if you are available), Friday Night programs in Jan/Feb and Oregon Spring Break Camp.

FREE Basic Business Cards – $15 Upgrade Option
With our Grow Visitation Tactical Operating Plan (TOP), we want you to be able to personally invite guests back for another visit. Your personal invitation to do so and handing them your business card is a start. The business cards will have a scannable QR code that links to both a Guest Satisfaction Survey and Your Next Visit options page, both on the Skihood.com website.
The goal is to have the first batch of cards here by December 3. Orders placed after November 27, will arrive on the next delivery date of December 17. Place your business card order right away!

Rehire Clinics – Returning & Experienced Instructors New to Meadows
Given the lack of snow we are seeing, please signup for your Re-hire Clinic later in the month of December if possible. The Re-hire clinics scheduled for Thanksgiving weekend are likely not to happen unless we get more snow. A list of Re-hire clinics are listed here:
