Nordic instructor training!
Returning, Experienced, Crossover, and First-Season instructors welcome to attend! This training is for Instructors already hired as Nordic/Shared or with the availability, desire, and possible commitment to work at the Nordic Center. There will be opportunities for MLC to learn to Nordic throughout the season for fun or development as well. If you do not have Nordic equipment, you can borrow ours.
Nordic Instructors must attend 1 of the 2 dates: either this date or 12/7/2024 and you must complete your Dayforce payroll verification steps 72 hours in advance of this training day if you did not attend Welcome Home. Details will be sent via email about this important step – so we can pay you!
We’ll focus on Nordic-specific training, including a tour of the newly laid out Nordic Center, where we can welcome guests back for the first time since Covid. We’re also working on making our rental process easier by going digital, so there will be plenty of updates for both new and returning staff.
If the weather permits, we plan to enjoy some classic skiing, or a trail walk in the afternoon. These sessions will take place on November 23rd and December 7th, and you only need to attend one. The schedule is from around 9 AM to 4 PM, with more details coming soon.
