Tracy is unavailable today so unfortunately everyone will have to make do with my more bland update. The mountain crew has been busy pushing snow, building the spring park on Cascade and getting the mountain as ready as possible to reopen tomorrow. Their efforts to keep our season going have been incredible.

EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION DAY
We are planning for the EOY Employee Appreciation Day for Monday, April 6th, time frame and details to come soon. We are planning for an early evening event similar to this past February’s appreciation event to allow for employees who are in school or at other jobs to make it. Transit will be provided and a schedule will be made available ahead of time for everyone to make their plans.
Please spread the word to your employees so they can get it on their calendars. We’ll get the details of the event out to everyone very soon!
UPDATED BUS SCHEDULE
Please see attached.
EMPLOYEE SURVEY
Please encourage all employees to participate in this survey. The feedback we obtain from our staff is valuable in increasing employee engagement, as well as obtaining useful information on how to improve as leaders.
Notes:
• The survey is for front-line employees (everyone except Managers, Directors, and Executive Directors)
• If you have a department mailing list, please email the link to your staff and encourage them to complete the survey
• There is no paper version available this year. Although the feedback is important, so is conserving staff resources (and paper) to not manually enter data.
• For those not as comfortable with English, they can be accommodated by a trusted supervisor interpreting for them.
• The computer in the lobby of Employee Services is available for employees to take the survey
• New questions have been added for transit, sustainability and manager skills; validity has been improved through changes in wording.
• Employees who work in more than one department are asked to fill out a separate survey for each department in which they work
• The final day for the survey will be Sunday March 22nd (included two weekends for better capture rate, but don’t wait!!)
Making your voice heard can lead to real change. Dr Mudd says: “If you don’t vote then you can’t gripe!”

COMPLIMENTS FOR INSTRUCTORS
For Greg Dehaven, My son Haden was in your clinic last week. First, thanks so much. Haden cannot speak highly enough of the experience. I plan to sign up myself for a future session. I wanted to ask if you might send me any video that you have of Haden? He also mentioned that you had some guidance relative to his interest in getting started in racing?
The instructor i had was awesome. i think his name was Roy
Gordon was a great instructor.
Took a Level I lesson with Gordo. Great teacher, and by the end of the session had improved skills and greater confidence. He’s a wonderful instructor.
We just want to pass along our highest praise to the amazing snow sports education programs at Meadows. Before having children, we used to travel to West sampling all the ski areas in the Cascades and Rockies. Since having children our resort visits winnowed to resorts with child care and now great children’s snow programs. We are SO GRATEFUL that our home mountain is Meadows where the staff, vibe and curricula at the CLC and Snoblasters programs is – quite simply the best. Specific call outs include (but are not limited to): Josey, Justin, Rachel, Tracy and instructors "Coach" Richard Mario and "Coach" Mark Gabrielsson.
Our experience includes happy kids who love their ski classes. Happy parents who have invested in creating a family that skis together. And many happy friends, who we have introduced to Meadows after being so impressed with your programs. We know it has been a tough season weather-wise, but you would not know it if you hang out in the CLC and Snoblasters room. Fantastic morale, customer service, care and instruction. We cannot thank you enough!
