Hello MLC Instructors!
It is with great pleasure that Josey, Chris and I announce that Peter Gavinski has accepted the position of Meadows Learning Center Program Lesson Manager. In this newly created position Peter will manage all of our multi-week program lessons (SnoBlasters, Trail Blazers, Freeride Team, Mid-week Education, College, High School, College, Chill, etc.) while working closely with both the sales and marketing team and the rental team to help create peak experiences for our guests and our team members.
Peter’s outstanding performance as the Children’s Learning Center Supervisor last season combined with his previous 3 seasons at Bogus Basin as the Program Lesson Supervisor as well as his other past experiences as a Children’s Program Supervisor at the City of Boise made him a clear choice for this position. His commitment to Mt. Hood Meadows is strong where last winter he endured living 5 hours away from his newlywed wife while she completed her schooling back in Boise, and he took the opportunity to be part of our team here at Mt. Hood Meadows. Bre completed her schooling, and now Peter and she now live in Hood River where Bre recently accepted a position with the Mid-Columbia Center for the Living – so they are both totally committed to Oregon! Josey, Chris and I are looking forward to this season, and the many seasons to come, with Peter as part of our team. Congratulations Peter!
Josey’s role will shift to manage all of our daily lesson products (Adult Walk-ins, Children’s Learning Center, Privates, Adaptive, and Camps) as well as manage the administration aspects of the department.
