Hello All,
We had some more snow falling yesterday and the rest of the week starting Saturday is calling for more snow up here. We have our first measure of snow for the season and we are starting off strong with 9 inches. I know we are all anxiously awaiting the beginning of the season and we can’t think of a better way to start, than a NOAA weekly forecast of snow. Please take a look at what we have going on in the few weeks.
Upcoming Events
· Ski & Ride School Orientation: Saturday, November 19th.
o Orientation will be from 10:45 am to 3 pm; with a 45 minute Lunch Break (food will be provided). There will be an opportunity to get your lockers and uniforms before the orientation, starting at 9 am.
§ Orientation will be a paid event, while lunch and lockers is not.
o Please note: If you are an experienced part-time or full-time instructor new to Mt. Hood Meadows or a new non-experienced full time instructor you will attend this orientation with our returning instructors.
· Locker and Uniforms –
o In order to try and speed up the locker process; this year we will be emailing everyone out their locker numbers and combinations so you will have that information before you come to Orientation.
o You may also choose an alternate date to come up and get your locker and uniform without having to flag down a Supervisor to get your combination.
· Ski Fever and Snowboard Show November 4-6th –
o Come out and support Mt Hood Meadows at the Portland Ski Fever Show! If you go to our website you can get $3 off admission and enter to win skis, a snowboard, bindings or more.
