I hope everyone has been having a manageable week so far and ready for some weekend fun.
We only have a few nights left in the season to enjoy MAD (Meadows after Dark) and the ever popular evening training clinics. The exam season is fast approaching so don’t miss out on these opportunities for training. If you are available we would love to see you out skiing and riding Friday – Sunday evening.
Your training staff will be offering this season’s second level 1 exam on Sunday the 13th. Applicants need to report to the back of the Children’s Learning Center by 7:45 am with paperwork and registration fees. Attached is an outline of the day for both snowboard and alpine candidates.
The first run of the Town Challenge begins tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 and runs till 7:30.

I may have mentioned one of my favorite parts of my job is to receive and pass on guest’s emails of appreciation to our instructor staff. It is great to share the following;
I had a lesson today with Marsha Eibert and I just wanted to give her a shout out. I had a great time and she did an awesome job easing me into skiing and helping me build my confidence while still pushing me along. Had a blast my first time on the slopes! Amazing instructor!
We brought our 4-year-old daughter Sasha up for a lesson on Monday (3/7), and I just wanted to give a shout out to her instructor Ben Ticknor. He was awesome! It felt like Ben really cared about Sasha’s progress and how to work with her to improve her skills and confidence. The report card he gave us was very thorough, and it will be helpful to us when we ski with her. He sat with us after her lesson for a long time and talked to us about how to get her comfortable on the chair, how to teach her to overcome her fear of steeper terrain, and most importantly to continue to make skiing a fun experience for her. I know it’s not easy to teach little kids, and Ben seemed really patient and kind. I’m hoping we can make it up on days when Ben is working (I believe he said he works Friday-Monday), so he can be Sasha’s instructor again.
If someone could pass this message on to Ben and his supervisor, that would be great. Having good instructors for our daughter really means a lot to us! Thanks again Ben!
