Share your passion of skiing or snowboarding with kids and adults just getting started in the sport as an instructor at Mt Hood Meadows.
To be an instructor you must have great people skills, love skiing or snowboarding and want to share that passion with others. Applicants should be able to ski or snowboard comfortably on blue groomed runs – there is no need to be an expert skier or rider to be a great instructor. If you can commit to coming to Mt. Hood Meadows between 15 to 25 days this season for training and teaching, then come join the instructor team.
Pathway 1 – First Season Instructor
If this will be your first season as an instructor – meaning you have never be paid to teach skiing or snowboarding at a resort, please go here:
If you have taught skiing or snowboarding for more than one season previously but it’s been more than 5 years ago and you have no previous PSIA-AASI certification OR you were previously a PSIA-AASI certified instructor (with an expired membership) and have been out of teaching for for more than 5 seasons, then you’ll want a refresher and will need to attend our first season instructor training days.
Pathway 2 – Experienced/Certified
If you are an experience instructor from another mountain with one or more seasons of experience OR have a current PSIA-AASI certification (or foreign equivalent) please go here:
Other Circumstances
