Hello MLC & Nordic Team!
Just wanted to express my gratitude to you all for enriching the lies of each other and our guests despite the lack of snow. The mountain team has done an amazing job considering the amount of snow they have to work with. The temperatures are dropping, and some snow is in the long range forecast finally.
Team Member Appreciation Dinner – Friday 12/22 @ 4:30PM
We wanted to give everyone a heads up that we are adding an additional all staff dinner function this coming Friday 12/22/2023 to support our team. Details are still being finalized but the current plan is 4:30pm – 5:45pm in Sahale – the Culinary team is still working on the menu. Free food and soft drinks with discounted beer & wine will be available. We are working on a bus schedule adjustment to allow those on the team bus to attend the event and will communicate that later this week.

Need More Snow for Nordic and Snowshoe
We still need more snow to open the Nordic Center and the Snowshoe trails. Geoff Mariner, our Director of Mountain Operations, took a detailed look at the Sahalie Road to see if we could groom something for our Nordic team and guests, however there just isn’t enough snow to make it happen yet. They want to get the Nordic Center open just as soon as we can. Once we get a good snowfall they will re-evaluate. Thank you Nordic team for hanging in there! We’ll get open – the mountain just has to deliver the goods like we know it will.
