There is snow on the ground, and it’s been cold! We are eagerly awaiting your arrival on November 8 or November 11 to attend the 2023-24 Mt. Hood Meadows Welcome Home session and the Meadows Learning Center Department training. We are just about 1 week away from our mid-week training day and have heard from about 150 of you so far. Welcome Home Sessions are November 8 and 11 – RSVP!
Please RSVP as soon as possible at the links below so we can plan for your attendance. When you RSVP you can let us know your preferred lunch type (omnivore, vegan, etc.). There will be an “on-line” version of the Welcome Home content (but it won’t be as good and there won’t be a free lunch and social afterwards), so if you absolutely cannot make it, we’ll get you the information later.

On-line Uniform Requests – Two days before Orientation
As in the past, since you likely know your uniform sizes from prior seasons, if you submit the form (linked below) two days before your orientation date, your uniform will be in your locker when you arrive! Claire will be sending you some returning instructor information about how to start your onboarding process, which includes how to get your pass – whoop, whoop – as well as Rehire/Reboot clinics, etc. Those of you who have re-applied, be looking for that email this afternoon.
Are you coming back?
There are more than 200 of you who have re-applied so we are about 50 short on RSVPs (see above). Steps to re-apply on-line in Dayforce (not the Skihood.com website):
- Login to Dayforce at the link below (not on the Dayforce app)

User Name: firstname.lastname
Password: the same one you used on the Dayforce app to complete your timesheets - We don’t know your password
- If you don’t know your password, then try the “Can’t access your account?” link under the Login button
- If you don’t get an email with a password reset option, please email humanresources@skihood.com and they can reset it for you
- Unfortunately, until your are rehired no one from the MLC can reset your password for you
- Once logged in, you should be on “The Hub” page, click/tap the menu at the top of the screen, look for the Careers menu, then choose “Search Jobs”
- On the Job Search page type in, “Instructor” and you’ll get one result called, “Returning Instructor”
- Click/tap on “Returning Instructor”
- Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click/tap on the “Apply Now” button
- Once on the application page, you do NOT need to complete the Education History, Employment History or Reference for a returning position! This will save you time!
- Just click/tap on the “Cancel” button
in each of these sections, then click/tap on the “Next Button”
- The next page has mandatory questions – so complete those as well as the subsequent pages that have optional information
- Then on the last page, check the “I agree to the Candidate Acknowledgement” and then click/tap “Submit”
- That’s it – you’re done!
Once your application is submitted, the HR team will review the application for completeness and pass it onto us. Once we receive it, you’ll receive a personal email from one of us that we received it. If you get stuck email skischoolsupervisors@skihood.com and we’ll help you! If you are not coming back, please reply to this email so I can not send you any more instructor updates.
