Hello everyone, wow how the weather can change. The skiing and riding has been fantastic the last couple of days.

The great winter weather has also brought ski school good business as well. We can still use a little more help this week if anyone has been thinking when to make up some of the shifts missed over the last 5 or 6 weeks.

If you haven’t attended a rehire clinic yet we have a few more scheduled, Friday Jan. 2nd , 3rd, and 6th. We have been meeting in the ski school lounge at 8:45am. Please let me know if you plan to attend in order to know how many groups will be needed.

Portland sales is looking for some help with the Park & Ride chaperone program. See Katie’s email below for details.

This is a great opportunity to meet guest and share information like “why are lesson good to take”

If anyone is interested please contact me.

I hope to see everyone soon.

Here are the responsibilities of the Park & Ride chaperone:

If we only have one bus, the chaperone needs to be at the Tualatin bus location at 6:30 AM. The bus leaves from the Tualatin Park & Ride off of the freeway on Lower Boones Ferry Road at 6:50 AM. It then goes to Beaverton, Sunset Transit Station – 10500 SW Butler Road (across the sky bridge) and for pick up 7:05 AM, and then to Gateway, 99th and Pacific Ave, to pick up at 7:30 AM. The chaperone will be sent the roster at 2 AM via email, and should bring the list with them (via electronic device is ok). We ask our chaperones to sit in the first seat on the right and step outside at each stop. Chaperone “checks people in” that are on the roster – making sure that no one boards the bus that isn’t on the roster.

If we have more than one bus, be sure to be at the bus stop 20 minutes before the bus leaves (6:45 AM for Beaverton or 7:10 AM for Gateway).

Return to the bus at 3:30 PM and check people back onto the bus. If anyone is missing, check the Concierge to see if they left a note. If someone is missing, check with the Medical Clinic to see if someone got injured. If that’s the case, it’s ok to wait for a few minutes for that guest, but the bus does need to get on the road.

The bus then drops people off at Gateway, Beaverton and then back to Tualatin (or directly to the original location if we’re running more than one bus).
