Extras
· Employee Survey Comments – We want you to know that we take all of your comments seriously and have already made some changes in our day to day operations and are busy making plans for the future on how we can make your experience working here better. We found your comments fit into four categories that you felt needed more attention from our Supervisors and Managers; Communication and Feedback, Training, Staffing, and Pay. Each week we will be sending out our Action Plan for the things we can change now and what we will do starting next season. This week’s Action Plan is for Communication and Feedback.
o Communication and Feedback Action Plan
§ Immediate Action
· Each Supervisor or Manager will allocate time to observe instructors teaching and give individual feedback. This feedback could be either formal or informal.
· Supervisors and Managers will continue to make a personal connection with staff beyond a working relationship.
· We will be asking for instructor to instructor praise in our morning huddles. If you observe a fellow instructor doing things well, please share your observations.
· To better prepare the staff for the day, Supervisors will send the Daily Yard to the snowproportal the day before, so you can check where you will be assigned for your shift from home. (Please be aware that assignments may change due to guest anticipation, make sure to check it when you arrive as well to make sure it hasn’t changed.)
§ Future Plans
· We will be offering a more comprehensive snowproportal training at the beginning of next year, so all staff is more familiar navigating the site and knowledgeable about all it has to offer.
· We are working on figuring out how to post Individual Daily Assignments on the snowproportal so you can check your schedule from home.
· We are working on a system to make sure that each instructor gets a performance review for the season.
· Supervisors and Managers will have profiles in the snowproportal that would include a picture of the individual, contact information, a description of their responsibilities, and where their office is located.
· Drinking at the Mountain – The days are getting sunnier and drinking out on the deck and at the Mazot is definitely on everyone’s list of things to do, but please make sure that we are being safe and responsible.
o No Drinking Allowed in any part of your uniform (including your pants and Spring Shirt- Duct Tape over the logo doesn’t count)
§ You must be done with your duties before consuming alcohol for the day. “All employees are required to not report to work while they are impaired due to on- or off-duty use of alcohol or other drugs”

· On Friday April 1st i had two beginner lessons with Kathi. She was the best instructor i have ever had. Very patient (even with a large group) and very knowledgeable. Kathi had me linking turns by the end of our first lesson! she is the reason why i will continue lessons at Meadows and purchase a season pass for next year.
· The instructors are off the hook and the rental staff stoked my son all up. They remembered his name and treated him like a rock star. We didn’t take lessons but the instructors kept giving my son props and stoking him as well. Your staff is amazing. Positive vibes and just great people.
· I had had a great experience. Took my sons for the 3 day learn to ride package deal. Equipment rental was smooth. Instructor, Mark, was patient and knowledgeable. He had us going all the way up the Mountain on the second day. We had a blast.
· Zach was a fantastic snowboard instructor.
· I want to give rave reviews for the ski school and everyone who works there. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience. They do a great job with organizing the drop off, gearing the kids up, keeping them interested and moving along, and everything else related to the kids day on the mountain. I brought three kids with me (10, 13, 17), set them up ahead of time online for lessons/gear/lift ticket. When we arrived the process of getting them geared up and to their lesson was smooth and painless. Especially for the 14 and under kids.
· I had a private ski lesson with Rocky. He was great. My daughter was in the kids group with Alex. She really liked it.
