Hello all,
Now that the weather has stabled a bit and Portland and Hood River can get out of their homes, Mid-Week Educational starts this week and we have over 200 kids coming up tomorrow. Night programs are also a go, so come on up and get ready to teach some awesome mid-week lessons.
Scheduling Needs
Northwest Association for Blind Athletes – NWABA will be coming up Thursday nights in February.
· If anyone is interested in coming up and teaching this great group, please contact Mark.Fischer@skihood.com.
· They will also be coming up on Wednesday, Feb 15th for a make-up lesson, so if anyone is interested in coming in on that day, please let Mark know.

Team Appreciation Dinner – Meadows will be holding an Employee Appreciation Dinner for all staff this upcoming Monday. Come on up to get some free food and win some cool prizes.

Extras
New 9:30 am line up time for CLC- Due to the extra time needed to get your class assignment and get the groups organized, Line- up will now be at 9:30 am, instead of the previous 9:45 am.

Hello! I am a volunteer with Snowboard Outreach Society and Becca was assigned as my group’s instructor this past weekend. First of all, thanks for donating your instructors’ time to our organization-we couldn’t operate without it! Becca was SO super rad in teaching our group the basics of being an instructor, the progression model, how to demonstrate proper technique and fundamentals, and effective drills for the kids. She was enthusiastic, easily relateable, and very supportive in her feedback when we took turns simulating teaching to the group. I can imagine how much patience is required to teach but she was very friendly and encouraging, a real pleasure to learn from and be around. Thanks again for supporting our program-your team rocks!
