Hello Returning Learning Center Instructors!
You’re receiving this email because you signed up to attend the Mt. Hood Meadows Orientation tomorrow – 11/16/2019.
Below is the agenda for the day. Laundry will be open at 7:45am for you to check out a uniform. Laundry will close promptly at 9:15am so you can make your way to Vertical without being late. Ideally you have all completed your “onboarding” tasks in the DayForce app. If you need help with DayForce, Employee Services should be able to assist you. You should have also received your locker assignment via email from Jillianne. She will be available just outside the laundry to assist with locker combo issues. Matt Hurley will also be in the locker room to assist with questions you may have.
It’s going to be a full day of reconnecting with friends and learning, with our second department social at the end of the day – Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!
The Agenda
7:45am to 9:15 am – Lockers and Uniforms (at your leisure) – closes promptly at 9:15am
9:20am to 9:30am – Meet in the hall at the bottom of the Vertical stairs and/or the SnoBlaster Room – we will be ushered into Vertical at 9:30am to find a seat
9:45am to 10:05am – Department Welcome
10:05am to 11:20am – Company Orientation
11:20am to 11:30am – Quick stretch break – don’t go any where
11:30am to 11:50am – Sustainability Training – Vertical
11:50am to 12:20pm – Workplace Safety – Vertical
12:20pm to 1:15pm – Lunch Break – Food Provided – SnoBlaster Room
12:35-1:05pm – Lunch Presentation from Chill Foundation (30 minutes) in Vertical North.
** Get your lunch then head up to vertical North using the SnoBlaster Room. ** This presentation is for any instructors who want to work with these underprivileged youth on Wednesday and Thursday nights – this is an awesome program that lasts 6 weeks and is very rewarding – Learn more about the Chill Foundation at their presentation and at their website – www.chill.org/
1:20pm to 2:00pm – Module Rotation 1 (40 minutes) – Vertical North
2:00pm to 2:10pm – Break – Switch locations – (10 minutes)
2:10pm to 2:50pm – Module Rotation 2 (40 minutes) – SnoBlaster Room
2:50pm to 3:00pm – Break – Switch locations – (10 minutes)
3:00pm to 3:40pm – Module Rotation 3 (40 minutes) – Children’s Learning Center
4:00pm – Department Social and Post module follow ups, and Q&A with no-host beer ($2) / wine ($3) and free snacks (90 minutes) – Vertical
