Hello Post News!

The new snow has been amazing and much needed. While we have had new snow, please be careful out there and expect unmarked obstacles and low snow cover. We are looking at picking up another 16+ inches between now and Monday depending on what forecast you are reading – see forecast below.

It’s the third week of February Programs with SnoBlasters, Trail Blazers, High School and Adult program lessons, so plan on lots of students. We have also revised the cutoff time for daily lessons to midnight the night before (it used to be noon the day before). This has dramatically increased lesson purchases for the next day – which is awesome as we want to welcome new guests to snowsports and our community!

We currently have 70 lessons in the CLC and 52 lessons in Adults and 64 Toyota Night Lessons! We have seen these numbers increase by as much as 30% with the later cut off time for lesson purchases!  Also plan on a longer than usual commute to the mountain due to new snow at the resort and snow on the roads. Leave 30 minutes earlier than normal or catch the team member shuttle.

The daily fact sheet is calling for 7,630 unique visitors tomorrow!

I have heard that Heather Canyon is being worked on by Rob, our Nordic Snowcat Operator, who has been deployed to work on the Heather Canyon runout bridges, which are necessary to be in place and passable before we can open Heather Canyon or Private Reserve. If we get the snow forecasted then Heather Canyon might be in our future!

Today is the last day of the current payroll, so please make sure you get your timesheets completed ASAP.
