Movement Analysis:  The process of observing a movement, evaluating the relevance and effect of that movement on other movements and the action of the tool (skis/board), and prescribing the changes for enhanced efficiency, effectiveness, and performance.

Snowboard Online Series is lead by our Training team, however, we encourage all disciplines to attend and sharpen their eye on tool/snow performance and the body movements that effect the tool performance.

This is a great opportunity to connect with your fellow instructors off the slopes and hone your Movement Analysis skills.

We don’t use the Dayforce Shift Swap feature

Let’s clear up some confusion about the ‘Shift Swap’ function on Dayforce Calendar. We don’t use this function in Dayforce Instead, we use the “Schedule Change Request” form in the Instructor Portal for all shift changes, time off requests, and to pick up additional shifts.

 Schedule Change Requests: https://mhm.snowproportal.com/schedule-change-requests

• If you use the Shift Swap function in Dayforce, IT WILL NOT WORK

• It will cause confusion for you = you will still be expected to show up to work that day!

• It will cause confusion for everyone else = that shift will not be reassigned to them, even if they think they picked it up.

• *If you are a shared employee, please ask your other department about their protocols; this is only for MLC shifts.

If you need a refresher on anything Dayforce or Portal related, please refer to the Nuts & Bolts reference: https://mhm.snowproportal.com/courses/nuts-bolts

This is mandatory training for any new instructor to Mt. Hood Meadows (and you have already taken or are in the process of taking it). If you are a returning instructor, some of this will be a review, however, this course is an excellent refresher for answering your operational questions.”

Thanks for being on the same page about the Dayforce Shift Swap function

Team Member PAR-TAY! Monday January 26 from 4-6PM

Join us after work next Monday (the 26th) for what will surely be a good time filled with good eats and good people! Chef Matt and his team are cooking up some of your Juneuary BBQ favorites – Burgers (Veggie and Beef!), Brats, BBQ pork, accompanied w/ salad and fries.

We know it’s been a weird start to the season, we’ve had sun, rain, wind, and even a couple of storm days. Sometimes the light’s all shining on me, other times I can barely see, but lately it occurs to me, what a long, strange trip it’s been up until this point of the season.

The Details

When: January 26th 4-6 pm

Where: The Alpenstube

Who: All of you! (Team Members only)

What’s Happening: Food, Drinks, Raffles, Games, and quality time with The Team!
