Event Type

This is what you’ve all been waiting for – an introductory training to teach with our sit-skis! This training will focus on the basics of our mono- and bi-ski. What do they do? Which students are these appropriate for? Why do some people have these long ropes behind the sit ski (i.e., they’re called “tethers”!)?

You’ll review the basics of fitting a student in a sit ski, the mechanism of action of the equipment, how to adjust the skis to fit the needs of a student, and Meadows Adaptive Program mono- and bi-ski best practices. The coolest part? It’s just like traditional skiing – just sitting down! You may even get to try skiing in a sit-ski, if that calls to you.

This training is perfect for instructors interested in learning more about the sit-skis and if they’d be interested in more adaptive training through our most experienced sit-ski instructors.

The clinic will meet in the Adaptive Room.
