Level 1 Teaching & Professional Knowledge, Part 1

This is one of four required prerequisite clinics for the Alpine Level 1 exam. You must attend all 4 clinics (minimum) to be prepared for the Level I Exam.

During this clinic we will introduce the process and expectation of the Teaching and Professional Knowledge assessment portion of the Level 1 on-snow exam.

  • The Alpine Skiing Fundamentals
  • Observe a Level 1 Teaching Segment
  • Practice leading a Level 1 Teaching Segment

Download the PSIA-NW Alpine Certification Guide and familiarize yourself with the Level 1 Process, the Beginner Zone Skiing Assessment Activities and the Skills and Fundamentals activities you will be demonstrating during the on-snow exam.
