Snowboarders get four, alpiners get five, but tele skiers get SIX fundamentals! Learn more about the special sixth fundamental of telemark movement, LEAD CHANGE, and how to apply it effectively to your skiing and teaching. This clinic is open to all levels of freeheel ability.
Learning Goals:
- Encourage participants get to know each other and build tele friendships.
- Discuss personal learning goals for the season, learn who is pursuing PSIA telemark certifications.
- Brainstorm topics that participants would like to learn more about in future clinics.
- Explore the six fundamentals of telemark skiing:
- Control the fore/aft relationship of the center of mass to the base of support to manage pressure along the length of the skis
- Control the lateral relationship of the center of mass to the base of support to manage pressure from ski to ski
