Join the Meadows adaptive team for an introductory training about the myriad ways we can help our students stand and slide on snow!
This training will focus on creative methods to support and teach stand up ski/snowboard lessons for folks with a variety of barriers to standing, such as balance or cognitive disorders. You will be introduced to various adaptive equipment and assistive devices used to help individuals stand up, such as hula hoops, bamboo poles, and tip tethers. The clinic will also provide an introduction to standing outrigger and the snow-slider.
This training will be helpful for all instructors, not just those interested in adaptive!
