Purpose

The purpose of this course is to create a guideline for accessing Mt. Hood Meadows gated terrain and treed runs providing much needed information to educate instructors, coaches and lesson participants about the hazards that exist in our winter playground, as well as ways to help mitigate these hazards when possible. In the event of finding yourself in a dire situation, we hope this information will help you make informed decisions and act in a manner that could potentially save someone’s life.
