Adaptive Lessons
Meeting location:
- Many Adaptive lessons meet on snow next to the Private Lesson Meeting Area; look for the Adaptive Lessons Meet Here sign
- Some lessons that require special equipment will meet at the Adaptive Lesson Fitting & Equipment Room, located in the South Lodge.
- Show up to the meeting area 15 minutes prior to the lesson.
- You can review your student’s information and set-up any equipment needed for the lesson and is paid as line up time.
Lesson Times:
- Morning Lesson: 9:30am-12pm
- Afternoon Lesson: 1pm-3:30pm
- Full Day Lesson: 9:30am – 3:30pm with a one-hour lunch break
How to know if you are booked for an adaptive lesson:
- The adaptive supervisor or lead may have reached out to you in advance to schedule the lesson.
- Similar to private lessons, the reservations are available to view on a Google Sheet at the MLC Sales Desk, MLC Admin office area or you can ask a manager to share the Google sheet with you so you can view it on your phone.
- Your name and the assistant instructor’s name (when appropriate) will appear on the line that you are assigned to, the details are as follows:
- Name, Age, Type of Adaptive Lesson (C-Cognitive, VI- Visual Impairment, Sit-Ski, 3-track, 4-track, or Adaptive Snowboard), any additional information
- The name will be clear (white) if they are reserved but have not checked in yet and will be yellow if they have checked in. See the example below:
