A message from Greg Pack also sent via Dayforce/Email:
Team,
Every day in this new world of ours sheds more light on the enormous impacts that this virus is going to have on business as we know it. There are decisions being made around that seem extreme and there are some that seem to be a little careless. I just wanted to update you that we are still planning on making a decision this week on our next steps.
Over the last few days we have only permitted a handful of staff to be at the resort to take care of some essential items like payroll, snow removal, security and answering guest questions. I am in full support of Team members staying home where they can maintain their social distancing and protect themselves.
With the new social distancing measures for our state, we are forced to cancel the holiday Spring Break camps scheduled the next two weeks, as well as the Full Sail Banked Slalom on March 28. We are in the process of notifying those who have registered for the camps, as well as competitors about credits or refunds, but we wanted to let you know in advance.
We have been running through models on what a limited operation would look like and how we could protect our Team and our guests. We have been in contact with local health officials on that plan to get feedback and recommendations. We have also been discussing what it would be like to close for the remainder of the season and the impacts of such a decision.
We have not made a decision at this point but will by the end of the week. We have a number of meetings to discuss the options mentioned above and will continue to monitor the ever changing recommendations that are being presented by our public officials.
Truly hope you are able to be spending time with family and friends right now finding ways to manage through this.
Sincerely,
Greg Pack
General Manager
As soon as we have a definitive decision on our continued operation you will be the first to know. Be sure to check your Dayforce app or look for another email from Greg and/or your MLC leadership team late Thursday.
Yours in Snowsports,
