Busy Weekend on the Slopes
It looks like we will have a high skier visit weekend. There will be an event on Easy Rider all day Saturday and an event all Day on Shooting Star for Sunday. Expect larger lift lines and let’s all be thinking of good class handling especially for those bottleneck areas on the hill. Lets all keep our footprint on the runs a wee bit on the smaller size.
CLC Meeting Times
8:30-8:45 Volunteer Based Training This Training will touch upon Terrain Based Learning for all those who are scheduled for the CLC.
8:45 Compulsory Paid Meeting/Huddle In this Training/Huddle we will be training/touching upon what is needed and expected when one is scheduled to the CLC. We will be talking over the Check-in procedures and boot fitting at those crucial times on busy weekends when all those happy guests are checking in their wee one’s.
Programs
Final Week of TrailBlazers and SnoBlasters
7:45 SnoBlaster meeting in the SnoBlaster room. Avie could use some help in the Mornings getting our kids helmets and getting booted up as well as helping clean up and return equipment back to Avie to be used the next day or returned to Rentals on Sunday. We plan on having Grant take Photos for us on both days at 2:30to 3pm both days.
8:45 Volunteer based Trailblazer/College/High School Huddle On-Snow. Jeremy has some good topics to cover in this meeting so we can be prepared for the remaining weeks of Programs.
8:45 Adult Volunteer based Huddle On-Snow. Sue will have some wonderful teaching tips and tricks as well as other information to help each of us as we help our guests strive to perfection with their skiing or riding!!
And now a Word From HR…
Due to anticipated business levels this weekend we are adding back to the bus schedule to help get employees to work and back.
This will be in effect Friday through Sunday – stay tuned for further updates after Sunday. This change is to accommodate increased staffing for THIS weekend.
The early bus from Hood River is back on. In addition to what we have been doing.
There will be 4pm and 5pm downhill runs.
The 11am runs are TBD each day and will be announced – we have to play this by ear based on other logistics.
Thanks!

A word about Park Etiquette from Wil Kirkland
We all know many of our students love to go into the Zoo or bigger parks. Just like our never ever’s who can’t wait to get to the chairlift, sometimes we need to hold them back a bit. Make sure we do our work/drills prior to taking the next step. Use an outside in approach!
