Don’t forget! 5th Grade Ski, Ride or Snowshoe Days are coming up!

These are fun time to connect with 5th graders who come to Mt. Hood Meadows to try skiing, snowboarding or snowshoeing. We provide the rentals, lift access and lessons for free to all Hood River County and some other Columbia Gorge schools.

The dates are:  4/9 – Westside, 4/10 – May St, 4/11- White Salmon, 4/15- Mid-Valley

These are morning lesson experiences only. If you’d like to join us for these days, please send an email to skischoolsupervisors@skihood.com and we’ll potentially add you to the roster for the morning! Thank you!

Timesheets must be completed before you leave for the day!

We absolutely need you to complete your timesheet at the end of the day you work – no exceptions. Tommy, Tabitha and others have been sending reminders, however this is your responsibility – thank you! Complete your timesheet at the end of your shift before you leave the mountain. If you need help, stop by the MLC Admin office.

Weekend Weather Forecast – starts out sunny, gets moist, then turns back to snow!

Guest Comments – You’re Amazing!

About Peter Gallati: Peter was patient and sweet to my daughter who had her first lesson ever and her first time on skis. He recognized when she was getting tired & frustrated and took a much needed break. She had great energy at the end and was excited to continue to ski! That is all we can ask for! She kept asking for him to be his teacher again! I appreciated the helpful feedback for what to work on.

About Sky: Sky did a great job giving some super awesome individual feedback, balancing multiple boarders. Great job all around

About Kathi Williams: All staff we interacted with today were incredible. Kathi especially made the day for us. She was joyful and kind to other staff, helpful and organized with other guest, and she made our visit one to remember. We were dressed too warmly, and Kathi took time to find a long sleeve shirt that fit perfectly that we borrowed for 60 minutes. Gave both me and my son great tips to continue our learning journey. Kathi is the kind of person you want in any organization. Kathi gang 4 life.

About Hyung: Great instructor! Hyung was very attentive and honest in well on how I could improve. His insights were helpful and made for a fun, useful lesson

About Loren: Loren provided excellent instruction to our group of six blue/green skiers. He challenged us just a little outside our comfort zone which helped me build the confidence I needed to progress to a “true blue” skier. I loved his enthusiasm for the sport and the interesting information he provided about skiing technique and the mountain. I found the apology of a car needing speed to turn smoothly being similar to a skier negotiating turns smoothly especially helpful. I left the lesson feeling more confident and with clear guidance on what I needed to practice.

Hope to see you this weekend!
