Below are the details for the Welcome Home session on 11/13 and 11/16. Please keep in mind that we will be open on 11/16, so the resort will be open to the public. Please plan on extended travel time to the resort on Saturday.
The Schedule for the Day – Indoor Training
- 8:00am – Move in – bring your equipment to your locker!
- 9:15 am – All MLC Department Orientation in Vertical
- 10:15 am – Module Rotation #1
- 11:30 am – Module Rotation #2
- 12:30 am – Lunch (catered sandwich makings provided, with dietary choices)
- 1:45 pm – Module Rotation #3
- 3:00 pm – Company Welcome Home Session
- 4:15 pm – Meadows Learning Center Social
Uniforms and Lockers
Claire and AC have been sending out locker assignments. Jesse, Jeremy and Matt have been pulling uniform requests for those who are coming on Wednesday. We will get to the uniform requests for those who are coming on Saturday. Check your email for a possible new locker assignment. If you get your uniform request in by 2pm on Tuesday 11/12 for Wednesday pickup or Noon on Friday for a Saturday pickup. Road Conditions – Trip Check
The Trip Check website is excellent for reviewing your route to Mt. Hood Meadows. There are road cams along the way, with weather notes. I highly advise you bookmark this website to your mobile device or computer, so you can easily get up to the minute travel conditions for Bennett Pass for Hwy 26 from the west side and Hwy 35 on the east side of Mt. Hood Meadows.
Oregon State Sno-Park Permits Required as of 11/1
We have found that the state police who issue citations for not displaying your Sno-Park permit on your car, do not start checking until once we are open for public operations, so if you don’t have it yet, you’ll probably be ok. To purchase a Sno-Park permit on-line go here:
