This is what you’ve all been waiting for – an introductory clinic to teaching with our sit-skis! This clinic will focus on the basics of our mono and bi-ski. What do they do? Which students are these appropriate for? What is the Meadows adaptive program? Why do some people have these long ropes behind the sit ski (i.e., they’re called “tethers”!)?
You’ll review the basics of fitting a student in a sit ski and a basic progression for teaching the basics on ballroom carpet. The coolest part? It’s just like traditional skiing – just sitting down! You may even get to try skiing in a sit-ski, if that calls to you.
This clinic is perfect for instructors interested in learning more about the sit-skis and if they’d be interested in more adaptive training through our most experienced sit-ski instructors.
