You have an “Independent Study”

​How to avoid having an Independent Study?

• Make a plan​
• Meet up location if separated (The bottom of the last lift ridden is common)​
• Instructor’s name is known by all students
• Partner up your students​
• Caboose, have someone at the end of the group​
• Count your students at every opportunity

What should you do if this happens to you?

• • Keep the scene safe and the group with you​
  • Contact Supervisor/Department​
    • Call CLC  (503) 337-2222 ext.1417​
    • Call Snoblasters (503) 337-2222 ext.1341​
    • Channel 7 on all radios = MLC​
  • Provide Info – Give student name, age, description, clothes color, last seen location, your group’s current location​
  • Stay with your group and wait for contact​
  • Review separation plan with group again
