Event Type

This clinic will focus on creative methods to support and teach stand up ski lessons for folks with a variety of barriers to standing to ski, such as balance or cognitive disorders. You will review various adaptive equipment and assistive devices used to help individuals stand up to ski, such as hula hoops, bamboo poles, and tip tethers. The clinic will also provide an introduction to standing outrigger and the snow-slider.

This clinic will be helpful for all instructors, not just those interested in adaptive!

Prerequisites: None

Team members should be uniform while attending this clinic.  When completing your timesheet in Dayforce you will enter: 

  • Location: MLC
